The Lamborghini Egoista - Merely a concept, or the future for Lamborghini?


Take a closer look at the Lamborghini Egoista.  Look beyond the 5.2 liter V10 engine and the carbon shaft exterior.  Look beyond the fact that it looks like a spaceship.  Instead, look at the dynamic design - the fact that it looks like a one seater fighter jet, and look at the bold statement Lamborghini are making.

The Lamborghini Egoista, a robot in disguise?

The car will never be able to purchase from the retailer as it is merely a concept.  However, concept cars can reveal a lot about the future.  The Lamborghini Egoista, based on the Gallardo,  is a one seater, designer Walter De Silva clearly wanted the ride to be a somewhat personal experience.  

All clear for take off

Lamborghini unveiled the concept car for to commemorate its 50th anniversary.  Walter De Silva himself drove the car in front of a gasping audience, surrounded by strobe lighting, smoke and a myriad of other special effects.  The term Egoista translates to 'selfish.'  The car is certainly indulgent and the team here at You Want One of Those, are in agreement that it certainly embodies this sentiment.
